Community Event - Burlington/Oakville - March for Meals Is On!
March for Meals is an annual campaign across North America that celebrates the impact of meals on wheels programs, raises awareness about the local need, and promotes community engagement. YOU can make a difference in Oakville by sponsoring a lunch for someone in need.
There are a few ways to #SponsorLunch:
1. Sponsor a lunch package for $25, which includes a meal and a treat.
2. Join the Purdys Easter Fundraiser (until March 6th).
3. Share and amplify our messaging on your social media platforms. Make sure you are following us on social media for the latest news and events.

Community Event - Burlington/Oakville - Halton’s Women’s Place Luncheon - March 7th
This year's event features guest speaker, Colette Martin, and hear her incredible story of survival.
Colette Martin is a resilient survivor of intimate partner violence who faced a life-threatening attack in 1997 by a partner with an undisclosed violent history.
In 2022, Bill 17 passed in her honour, granting police the authority to disclose a partner’s history of intimate partner violence. Colette, a mother of three, channels her passion to raise awareness, educate others, and transform personal trauma into a powerful force for positive change.
The event is March 7th at the Holiday Inn, Burlington
Doors open at 10am Program begins at 11am.
