The 2024 Pickleball season at the Quinte Curling Club starts Monday,  April 29 with new pricing and schedules.  Sessions are open Mondays and Wednesdays,  10 am - noon and 6 pm - 8 pm.  Drop in games are $9 each, including HST. For keen players, an unlimited play option is available for $200 including HST.  The season will last 19 weeks excluding dates when the Club is  unavailable:  May 15, June 10, June 12, July 1, August 5 and September 2.  All participants are required to pay and sign a waiver before beginning play.  For more detailed information, click here.

Storrington Lions Club is hosting a POP Can Drive on April 21st 12:30p to 2:30pm.  We are collecting pop cans and all the proceeds will go to Guide Dogs of Oakville which is one of our signature charities.  Pop Cans can be dropped off at 2992 Princess Rd, Inverary, ON K0H1X0.

The Choral North Bay Choral Society is presenting their spring concert featuring songs from the British Invasion on Saturday April 20 and Sunday April 21 at 2pm.

Why dine out alone? Socialize with other solo diners in a group in a room just for us. Next solo event is dinner Thursday, April 18th, 5:30 at the Mandarin Restaurant St Catharines. All adult ages regardless of marital status welcomed. It's no one's business but your own why you are a solo diner.  Order off the menu or enjoy the buffet. Seniors 65+ with id get 20% off the buffet price. Cost is what you order. No membership fee.  So don't be shy or hesitant to come out to this solo event. The restaurant is accessible and has plenty of parking. Check the restaurant's web site for prices.
