Belleville Public Library's Adult Chess Club is for ages 18 and up. The club meets every second Monday (bi-weekly) at 5:30pm. Bring your own chess board or borrow one from the library and meet with fellow chess players for a friendly game. All skill levels are invited to this informal, self-led program.

Every Sunday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 261 - located at 12326 Lanoue St. near the corner of Lesperance and Tecumseh Rd.

Eggs, bacon, pancakes, hashbrowns, coffee, and more!

Cost is $12.99 plus tax per person. Children 3-10 are half price while kids under three eat free!

The Veteran Concert will be held at the Festival Hall Centre for the Arts, located on Isabella Street in Pembroke, Ontario, Canada. Get ready to be moved by powerful performances from talented veteran musicians as we honor those who have served our country.

Each musical act includes veterans or a serving members of our Armed Forces. Immerse yourself in music and videos of veteran stories.

Musical performances by JJ Staley Music, Jennifer Gagnon, Music Healing Veterans and Stereo Typical.

100% of all the proceeds will go to the Pembroke and Petawawa Legions.

The Kids Dash is a short run/walk (210m) for ages 2-7, and the Youth Run (1.2km) is for ages 8-13. There is a route for Walkers and Wheelers (2.8km, only wheelchairs, no bicycles), and of course a timed 5K route for runners. It is a wonderful family event! No matter which element you take part in, everyone will receive a finisher medal. Youth of any age can register for any race.
