A Roast Beef dinner and Dessert Auction to raise money for ongoing church outreach. The location is All Saints Anglican Church in Ridgeway at Crystal Ridge Community Centre, Friday Oct. 6th. Doors open at 5PM, dinner at 6PM. Dessert Auction to follow. Adults $20, children under 10, $10. Contact Catherine at 289-228-0229 by Oct. 1st.

Join Community Development Halton on Thursday October 12 from 1:00pm – 2:30pm for the release of INCOME, INEQUALITY, & POVERTY - the second report in the Our Halton 2023 information series.  The Our Halton series uses 2021 Census data to highlight the changing socio-demographic characteristics of Halton Region.

The report will be available on the CDH website and a link to the report will be sent to all registrants prior to the October 12 event.

Stories and Starlight:  Join us at Spencer Smith Park for a night under the stars to walk and talk about domestic violence. 

Join us for an evening of solidarity under the stars to raise funds and awareness for domestic violence prevention.  Your participation in the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation Night Light Walk on October 19th is a chance to give back and share a magical night of light with like-minded neighbours, friends and family. 

100% of all funds raised are directed to Halton Women's Place.  With your support, we can help light the way forward for so many women and children who are ready to take their first brave steps away from violence.

Looking for a fun activity for this upcoming PA Day? Hutchison House Museum will host its Medicine Wheel Boxes Day Camp on September 29th, 2023 from 9:30-12pm. Children will decorate their own boxes with painted toothpicks to represent a Medicine Wheel in honor of Truth and Reconciliation Day. Cost per child is $25. Children are required to bring their own peanut free snack. Registration is required. This workshop is appropriate for children ages 6-12.
