Fraudsters are calling seniors and pretending to be a family member in distress. Do not fall victim to these fraudsters. Be suspicious of calls that require immediate action.
How to recognize it: The fraudulent text message claims to be from the CRA and contains a link, as well as personal information such as a name, date of birth, or social insurance number.
What to do: Do not reply to the text or click the link in the text message or provide them with your personal or financial information.
The CRA will not use text messages or instant messages to start a conversation with you about your taxes, benefits, or My Account.

In Canada, the population is aging, and the need for more support for ailing and disabled individuals is increasing. The health care support worker profession is an emerging field of employment. Assisting with bedside and personal care to clients, planning and preparing meals, helping with light housework, and spending time talking to clients are typical duties of a health care support worker.
