Bowl for Kids’ Sake is a fun and easy way for individuals and companies to make an impact on the local community—it only takes a little bit of effort to raise the money that is vital to our program’s success. Fundraising teams collect donations and then celebrate their success by attending a local bowling party. This year's theme is 'Neon Night' come out in your best neon outfit and bowl away!
Burger Day will be hosted at Victoria park on Tuesday September 1st 2023 from 11-7. There will be $10 tickets for a Hotdog or a hamburger including chips and a pop. The tickets are $10 they can be bought at the event or before the event or at the Big Brothers Big Sisters office.

Prince Edward Community Care holds monthly curbside pick-up of meals. The September event is on Thursday, September 21st, 2023 and the pick up location is in Milford. Chef Bill Grieve of Wheelhouse and Occasions Catering is preparing a scrumptious meal of homemade soup, a roll, roast loin of pork, potatoes, vegetables, and apple pie for dessert. The cost is $20.00/meal and seniors 60+ can order by calling the Community Care office at 613-476-7493. All meals must be paid for in advance. Meals will be packaged hot and ready to be picked up at Milford Town Hall, 3076 County Road 10, Milford. Only those who preorder and pay will be served.
