Musicata Hamilton’s Voices is a twenty voice chamber choir based in Hamilton, Ontario. The group was established in 1982 as the John Laing Singers by Conductor John Laing, re-branding as Musicata in 2016. Roger Bergs became Artistic Director in 2011, building on John Laing’s solid foundation of choral excellence, moving the choir in adventurous new directions. Recent seasons have featured several world-premiere performances and the introduction of delightful newer works by contemporary composers. In addition to three subscription concerts per season, Musicata gives free performances at community-based venues in the Greater Hamilton Area.

Performers for Musicata’s eight hour fundraiser event on April 15, 2023 at the Church of the Ascension include: Thom Adkins, Peter Anderson, Joseph Arevalo, Babbage Industries (Frank Denton, Monica Knott, Pete Lloyd & Mary Ann Peters), Badunkafunk (Craig F.
