The Alzheimer Society of Hastings Prince Edward will be at Belleville Public Library to deliver two informative talks. 

Register for one or both of the following sessions:

Session 1 - Dementia Basics & Resources - 3:00-4:00 pm on Friday, January 5

  • Learn how our brains work and in relation to dementia, risks, and the services the Alzheimer Society offers in the community.

Session 2 - Brain Health & Reducing Risk - 3:00-4:00 pm on Friday, January 19

  • Learns tips and strategies for keeping our brains healthy and active.

Community Event - Cobourg/Port Hope - Home Alone Course - FREE

This FREE 2.5 hour course will provide youth ages 10-14 with the skills and knowledge that will assist them in being confident about staying home alone. Through interactive games and activities participants will learn about how to stay safe in various situations and what to do in case of an emergency.
