Kristin Phillips, Author of "For the Love of Learning - A Day in the Life of a School Principal" will be the speaker at the Canadian Club of Halton dinner Thursday, March 16th at the Oakville Conference Centre.  An educator and retired elementary school principal with a passion for education change, Kristin has worked closely with teachers and administrators at the school and board levels to bring about pedagogical reforms.  Fees for the combined 3-course dinner and speaker presentation are only $55/member and $65/non-member. Community Event - Niagara - Lines In Nature: Kimberley Laspa

The works of Kimberley Laspa will be featured in the solo exhibit titled ‘Lines in Nature’ in the
Joyner Gallery of the Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre from March 30 to April 30. The collection
of abstract paintings depicts landscapes inspired by local scenery or captured through the
artist’s travels. All are welcome to the opening reception on April 2nd, from 2-4 pm. Remarks at
approximately 2:30 pm. Refreshments will be served.

Join us for this fundraiser cooking demo by Mackie's Golden Meals where participants will get to observe how Jamaican Chicken Stew is made. Participants are encouraged to pay by donation and all size of donations are welcome. Help Mackie's Golden Meals achieve their dream of acquiring a food truck so that they can bring the Caribbean flavours all over Renfrew County.
