The festive season is upon us, and our sector is gearing up for the season of giving. Volunteer Halton is Halton Region’s volunteer centre – connecting community is what we do.  Let us help support your organization’s needs with volunteer referrals by showcasing your volunteer opportunities through our 2023 Holiday Volunteering campaign

If your organization needs volunteer help this holiday season, let us help you connect with those looking to get involved.

Some past examples of holiday volunteer opportunities include helping prepare, serve, or deliver meals, fundraising, picking up or sorting donations, gift wrapping, delivering gifts to families, and helping organize holiday-focused events.

Are you a Community Development Halton (CDH) member?  You can post unlimited holiday volunteer opportunities with us this festive season.

Not yet a member? We are pleased to offer non-member organizations the opportunity to post a maximum of three (3) holiday volunteer opportunities starting Monday November 6 through to December 20, 2023 (for activities that will take place up to and including Sunday January 7, 2024).

All Holiday Volunteer opportunities will be promoted on our volunteer opportunities database and on our social media channels.

It is easy to list your Holiday Volunteer opportunities with us. Go to https://halton.cioc.ca/volunteer/feedback.asp and complete the online form.  Once received, your opportunity will be reviewed and, in most cases, will be made public within 3 business days.

Please notify us by email at volunteer@cdhalton.ca when the volunteer positions are filled.

Note: All Holiday Volunteer opportunities will be removed from our website on January 8, 2024.

This holiday season, let Community Development Halton and Volunteer Halton help your organization connect with volunteers in our community. Submit your opportunities today at https://halton.cioc.ca/volunteer/feedback.asp and feel free to pass this notice along to those in your network.
