The Wrapped in Courage Pancake Breakfast is an event hosted by Gillian's Place in support of Women Abuse Prevention Month.

Violence continues to be the greatest gender inequality rights issue for women girls and gender-diverse individuals. 1 in 3 women will experience gender-based violence in their lifetime and these numbers increase exponentially for Black Indigenous and Women of Colour. November marks Woman Abuse Prevention Month in Ontario and the launch of the Wrapped in Courage Campaign organized by the Ontario Association of Interval & Transition Houses. Gender-based violence (GBV) agencies across Ontario are asking community members to wear a purple scarf to show their support for survivors of GBV within their community and beyond.

On November 7th from 7 to 9 am at Market Square for $20 you will receive a lovely breakfast including pancakes sausages juice tea or coffee AND a Gillian's Place purple scarf. Come out and show your support to survivors.
