Country Heritage Park, along with members of three Ontario John Deere collector clubs, will celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the John Deere model “D” tractor.

On May 23,1923 the very first John Deere model “D” tractor rolled off the line and production continued for an astounding 30 years, the longest ever of any tractor model from any company. Approximately 160,000 model “D” tractors were built and sold to farmers all over the world. To celebrate this special occasion, John Deere enthusiasts have organized an event scheduled for June 3rd & 4th at Country Heritage Park in Milton, ON to showcase the history and evolution of the model “D” tractor. Tractor collectors from across Canada and the United States will descend on Milton to exhibit, demonstrate and educate visitors on all there is to learn about the history and development of the model “D” tractor.
