Hey everyone! Focus on Nature still has spots open for their Summer camp at the Fireman’s Park! It's a great chance for young photographers to explore the outdoors and learn new skills!

Focus on Nature is a long-standing non-profit charity group in Guelph. We host hundreds of workshops on both school boards and service thousands of students from grades 3 to 11. We have always aimed to get students outdoors to explore nature and think about their impact on their communities while promoting creativity and supporting their unique lens on the outdoors around them captured through photography.

Every year we host Summer Camps in all of our active regions where children hone their photography skills, learn about the wildlife around them, and make friends within the community! This year’s camp theme is “All About Birds” with special Naturalist Guest speakers joining campers for an afternoon of bird watching, games and activities.

Celebrate the spirit of a bygone era with an elegant night of dining, dancing, and nostalgia! Join us for “An Evening at the Brant Inn” on Saturday, October 4, 2025 from 6 PM to 11 PM at the Holiday Inn Burlington Conference Centre. Inspired by the Brant Inn - the legendary lakeside venue of the 1940s, 50s, and 60s - this unforgettable evening will feature hors d’oeuvres, a 3-course dinner, drinks, live music from Smooth Blend Jazz Quartet, and dance lessons and demonstrations from danceScape. 

This event is a fundraiser for Museums of Burlington, supporting the preservation of local history and the continued development of educational programming. 

Tickets are $125/person ($120/members) and include passed hors d’oeuvres, 3-course dinner, 1 drink ticket, dance lessons, and live musical entertainment. Cash bar available. Charitable donation receipt will be provided for each ticket purchase.
