A free session offered by Twin Bridges NPLC and facilitated by a Registered Psychotherapist. The session will discuss the "new normal" that parenthood brings. Topics that will be explored include: adjusting expectations, recognizing personal needs and optimizing communication.

Public Notices/Announcements - Windsor/Leamington - 10th Annual Terry Fox Giant Used Book Sale

10-year Birthday Celebration, all books $1; kids 2 for $1 at St. Clair Shores Shopping Centre, 25 Amy Croft at Manning and County Rd 22, in plaza next door to Sobeys, tucked in the corner behind Dollarama (look for Gant Terry Fox cut-out and balloons).  

Saturday and Sunday, September 8, 9 and Saturday, September 15, between 9am-4pm all three days.

All proceeds are go to the Terry Fox Foundation for Cancer Research; tally added to the Tecumseh Terry Fox Run, held Sunday, September 16 at Green Acres Optimist Park at 9am. Community event, volunteer-led, and dependent solely on donated books, space and community support. To date over $135,000 has been raised through the annual book sale for cancer research. This year’s goal is to reach and surpass the $150,000 mark as the book sale celebrates year 10.

Community Event - Sarnia - Twin Bridges NPLC Conquering Anxiety Oct 3-24 @1pm

A four-week program facilitated by a Registered Social Worker. You will learn how to manage anxiety by changing thoughts, behaviours and your overall relationship with it. Each session will include facilitated discussion and practical relaxation techniques. Classes run from Oct 3-24 from 1:00-3:00pm.
