The community of Shrewsbury is hosting it's Easter Egg-Stravaganza for area community children. April 19th, 11am-2pm at the Shrewsbury Community Centre. There is an an exciting 3 hours for the children, including: face painting, crafts, lunch, games, and contests.

Support a more nature-friendly community by purchasing one or more native plant kits or seeds this year!
While supplies last, kits for sun-loving, shade-loving, rain-loving and monarch gardens are available, as well as four types of native wildflower seed packets prepared by BurlingtonGreen volunteers.
100% of proceeds from sales directly support BurlingtonGreen’s Nature-Friendly Burlington programming to empower the community to protect and care for local green space and habitat.

Any plant material not claimed after Monday, May 26, 2025, cannot be held and will be donated.

The 43rd Annual Strawberry Fair in support of Milton District Hospital will take place on Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 8 am to 4 pm. We kick things off with a Strawberry and Pancake Breakfast at 8 am and you can stay all day and enjoy the following:
Strawberry Tent - serving fresh strawberries, ice cream, shortcake and slushies all day
Children's Area - free craft stations (while supplies last), duck pond, sand pile, fire truck, police car, Teddy Bear adoption tent, and PAY TO PLAY Bouncy castles
Live Entertainment Stage - local live entertainment all day from 9 am to 4 pm hosted by Rockin' Rob Hewlett
Vendor Marketplace - be sure to visit all of our vendors offering a variety of items from art, handmade jewelry and crafts, to delicious baked goods and butter tarts.
