As millions of children go back to school around the world, formal education continues to be on hold for the children of Gaza. Nearly 90% of all schools in Gaza have been damaged or destroyed since Oct. 7.

“I didn't expect my school backpack would be used to carry belongings.” 12-year-old Shahad Abu Tayr dreams of going back to school and packing notebooks inside her school bag instead of clothes for every time she and her family are displaced in Gaza.

As our children begin another school year, the children of Gaza are being left behind and traumatized. Please join us on Saturday, October 5th from 11 am to 12:30 pm. Corner of Murphy and London Roads.
