South Essex Community Council fundraiser on Friday, November 17 at 6pm at Leamington Portuguese Club. An evening of great food, entertainment, silent auction and surprise give-aways. This year, we’ve added a fun little twist—we're going “disco”! It’s the 40th anniversary. Dressing in disco attire is optional, but if you want to get into the spirit of the evening, you are welcome to dust off the gold lamme and bell bottoms. Tickets are $70 or $490 for a table. The Champlain Trail Museum is holding its second annual Christmas Market on Sunday December 3rd, 2017. From 10:00am to 4:00pm. you can tour our museum and pioneer buildings and start your Christmas shopping! There will be a raffle draw, crafts and games for the kids, and refreshments available for purchase. Admission and parking is free. For more information please phone 613-735-0517.

The Champlain Trail Museum and Pioneer Village is the largest Museum in Renfrew County with more than 10,000 artifacts among its collection.  Located in Pembroke, the Museum is owned and operated by the Ottawa Valley Historical Society and is funding by the municipalities of Pembroke and Laurentian Valley.

This event is open to the public and perfect for the whole family. This is a free event although donations of canned goods for the local food bank are appreciated.

Our Annual Church Bazaar & Silent Auction features a Silent Auction with various items perfect for gift giving.  Downstairs our will find Personalized Ornaments, Hand Crafted Christmas Decorations, Homemade Chocolate Bark, Suckers and Fruit Pies, Knitted and Sewing Crafts and our famous Cookie Walk.  Cap off your time with us by enjoying a soup lunch with various homemade soups to chose from.  Something for everyone on your list.
