This workshop will give you a basic understanding of the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System. (Not sector specific). You will learn how to keep yourself and your co-workers safe by knowing how to identify and handle situations where hazardous materials are involved in the workplace.

Taking it at EEC is convenient and meets all requirements for Smart Serve certification. Cost: $35 for materials and test, payable prior to the workshop.

The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA), is a provincial law that requires organizations to become more accessible to people with disabilities. Unit 1 provides training in Customer Service and this workshop will give you a head start for a legal requirement of your next job.
