Heritage and Cemetery Memorial Service at Salem United Church. The Heritage Service will be in the church, followed by the dedication of the Cemetery as a United Empire Loyalist resting place and the dedication of the restored stone walls. The Memorial Service will take place in the Cemetery, weather permitting.  A lunch provided by the Salem United Church Women and a time for fellowship will follow.  This is an opportunity to celebrate Salem United Church history and honour the memory of all those who are buried in the Cemetery. All are welcome to attend.

The Fogolar Furlan Women’s Association (FFWA) presents the Summer in the City Classic Car Show on Sunday, July 20, 2025 10 am - 3 pm at the Fogolar Furlan Windsor (1800 North Service Rd E, Windsor, ON). 

Come out and enjoy the nice weather as you stroll amongst beautiful classic cars; classic trucks and motorcycles are welcome! Food and drinks are available for purchase. This event happens rain or shine!

Proceeds to benefit the Sleep in Heavenly Peace (Windsor Chapter) to provide beds to children so that “No Kid Sleeps On The Floor In Our Town!”.

Glover, Professor in the Department of Recreation and Leisure Studies with the University of Waterloo sharing information and research on how community sport and cultural activities help reduce loneliness and build inclusivity and belonging in our communities.  The morning continues with Chris Chandler of Viper Basketball sharing the Viper Basketball story and how he went from player to coach to building community through sport.  The afternoon offers a variety of education sessions to choose from, including Fundraising Essential for Volunteer Managers with Sammy Feilchenfeld, CVA of Volunteer Toronto, Sport Aurora sharing the journey to creating a sports alliance in partnership with their local municipality, and Heather Kaufmann and Heather Johnson's presentation, Encouraging Volunteer Engagement: Planning, Position Descriptions, and Postings.
 

The event will also include Building Community Relationships panel discussion featuring Don Pangman of ArtHouse Halton, Rishia Burke, Executive Director, Community Development Halton, Molly McCoubrey, Staff Lead for the Milton Community Fund, and Heather Kaufmann, Supervisor, Community Development Supervisor, Recreation and Sport with the Town of Halton Hills.  This panel will hare information on ways to build relationships to improve community connections and financial support with a focus on sport, arts and culture, and environmental organizations.
 

All attendees will be provided with lunch and light refreshments throughout the day.
