Excitement Builds Leading Up to The 20th Annual Batawa Lions Easter Egg Hunt!
Now in its 20th year, the Batawa Lions Easter Egg Hunt is set for Saturday, April 8th
and is sure to be a great event for kids of all ages.
In addition to the Hunt, which runs from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., the event will include a
pancake breakfast, a petting zoo, a firetruck, and police car display. Infants (0) to
five (5) years old begin to hunt at 10 a.m. Ages Six (6) to Twelve (12) years old begin
searching at 11:15 a.m.
Be sure to arrive and register early as supplies are limited. The Easter Egg Hunt
itself will have enough chocolate for 700 kids on a first come first serve basis. The
breakfast and other activities are open to everyone while supplies last.
Breakfast is $8 for kids, $10 for adults and $30 for a family of four (4).
The Hunt is back after a three-year hiatus, thanks to the combined efforts of the
Batawa Lions Club, the Trenton Military Family Resource Centre (MFRC), and the
Batawa Development Corporation.
The MFRC and the Batawa Lions Club encourages families to come out to the
Batawa Community Centre at 81 Plant Street on April 8th to enjoy the excitement of
the Easter season.
