The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit continues to offer one-day pop-up COVID-19 vaccination clinics at locations throughout Simcoe Muskoka, with upcoming clinics taking place from Jan. 25 to 30. All vaccine doses, including first and second pediatric doses for children aged six months to 11 years, and bivalent boosters for individuals aged five years and older are available at health unit operated pop-up clinics by walk-in and appointment. GO-VAXX clinics offer first and second doses to children aged five to 11, and bivalent boosters to individuals aged five years and older by walk-in and appointment. Who is down for an awesome time?!?
Nipissing Roller Derby is hosting a skate night to raise funds for our 2023 season and to find some new recruits!
This is an open roller skate or rollerblading event for ALL ages!! Bring your own blades or skates and a helmet if you like and come enjoy some old school Roller skating jams!!
We will have water for sale but there is a refillable water station so bring your fave refillable water bottle to save the planet.
You will need to sign a waiver before going on the floor which we will have a link to soon. We will also have paper copies there as well.
Cost is $10 for adults, $8 for children (12 and under), and $25 per family (up to 6 people).
We are looking into rental skates but at this time it is not looking like an option. But we will keep you all posted!

Niagara Frontier Regional Camera Club is holding its 58th Annual Photo Conference. The conference offers attendees several speakers who will be presenting on multiple genres of photography. There will be hands on workshops and outings also available to those registering to attend the conference. There is a Digital Salon (competition) that attendees can register for and also a Print Salon (competition). The Weekend Pass includes meals for the attendee for Saturday and breakfast on Sunday. Saturday only pass includes lunch on Saturday but does not include a ticket the the Awards Banquet. This is a great event to meet like minded photographers, make new friends, enjoy the comradely and fellowship while taking in the presentations by our guest speakers and absorbing the knowledge they share
