Evensong at Emmanuel United Church offers a contemplative, quiet alternative worship experience designed for those seeking spiritual reflection and peace.  Held in the tranquil evening hours, this service features meditative music, thoughtful prayers, and moments of silence creating a serene atmosphere that encourages deep personal connection with the divine.  It provides a sacred space for us to unwind, reflect, and find solace amid the busyness of daily life.  Join us for Evensong and rejuvenate your spirit in the calm and welcoming embrace of our community.

Step into the Light on May 24th when the Peterborough Symphony Orchestra performs its final concert of the season.

The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. at Emmanuel United Church. Arrive at 6:45 p.m. to hear Maestro Newnham give his pre-concert talk.

Two guest artists playing the harp and cello will join the orchestra to showcase a piece by Canadian composer Kelly-Marie Murphy and a soprano will accompany the orchestra in performing Mahler’s Fourth Symphony.
