This is one of the 21 rallies in Ontario on May 1st. Ontarians are looking for a Province where the government really cares for them; where the societal gaps laid bare by the pandemic are corrected once and for all.

Mario Spagnuolo (interim President of WDLC ) will be joined by ordinary citizens and activists at the mic. Speakers will cover such issues as the Environment, Disability Rights, Racism, Equity & Inclusion, Poverty, Supportive Housing, Frontline Workers, Patient Care, and Education.  There will be speeches, music, and poetry.

The works of Catharine Somerville will be featured in an upcoming solo exhibit titled ‘Colour Dreams’ in the Joyner Gallery of the Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre from April 27 to May 29, 2022. The collection includes the artist’s new paintings which she describes as ‘abstract and atmospheric’.
