Tri-County Literacy Council is offering a free hands-on training to local seniors titled "Mental Gymnastics".  It is intended to maintain and/or cognitive functioning.  This course will cover topics such as memory and how it works, forgetfulness, brain health, and memory strategies.  This 6-week course is offered one day a week, both in-person and online starting the week of January 24th.  It promises to include hands-on activities, fun memory games, memory strategies, a fun project, and informative guest speakers.  To register, phone Tri-County Literacy Council at 613-932-7161.

All activities at the North Bay Golden Age Club, including the Saturday Night dances, are suspended until further notice.  The Club is closed however, the office is open from 1:00 to 3:30 most days.
