Almost 7 years ago, Sudbury’s Diversity Advisory Panel conceptualized, drafted and presented Sudbury’s Diversity Policy Statement to City Council for official adoption. The focus of this document was grounded in human dignity, respect and equal opportunity for every human being. It was unanimously approved by City Council in May 2014. Thanks to the support of key leaders at the City, the policy is publicly displayed today in municipal buildings with beautiful artwork to showcase its content and purpose.

Join us for a conversation with lawyer Leonard Kim as he shares his insights into this journey and discusses why equity and inclusion are vital cornerstones in the north today.
