The City of Pembroke is happy to announce the return of trivia. On January 15th at 7
p.m. the City will be offering online trivia on Pixar movies and short films. Teams of up
to 6 may register for $20. Once teams are registered they will receive a code to the
game as well as a link to a live stream for the event. Players on a team may play
together from different households or play from one screen at home with family.
50% of the proceeds from the trivia will be donated to the Boys & Girls Club of
Pembroke and the other 50% will be given to the winning team.
To register your team or to inquire about online trivia contact the Recreation Department
at 613-735-6821 ext. 1501 or email recreation@pembroke.ca.

Jale Fancey will be presenting her International contest Speech, to practice for our Area 74 contest on Jan 14th, also on zoom!

You will also be seeing the 2020 World Champion of Public Speaking, Mike Carr, on video!

It will be an amazing event! If you are looking to improve yourself Toastmasters is for you!

You will improve your communication skills, your Leadership skills, Organizational, skills, Observation Skills, Listening Skills, Social skills, Planning skills, Teamwork skills, Decision-making skills, Public Speaking skills, Writing skills, Focus skills.

Toastmasters will help you build your confidence, platform your ideas, impromptu thinking, and speaking ( great for interviewing skills), friendship, and much much more!

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN for all musicians age 8 to 28 regardless of instrumental experience. All Instruction and rehearsals are online.  To learn more about the KYO organization and how to join contact ann@thekyo.org or check out www.thekyo.org.

 

Instruction and rehearsals begin Wednesday, January 6th online for beginner (Farm Team) and intermediate (JKYO) musicians, and Sunday, January 10th for advanced (KYO) musicians.
