Community Event - Windsor/Leamington - Stella's Pasta Dinner Fundraiser
14 month old Stella was Diagnosed with a rare form of cancer in August of 2019. For treatment, her parents are uprooting and heading to Toronto. They have given up their jobs to take care of Stella during this time. The Fundraiser to help the family will take place on February 8th at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 201 in Essex. The Belleville Public Library and Alzheimer’s Society of HPEC will give a session entitled Memory Loss: Enhancing Our Understanding on Thurs. Jan. 23 from 10:30 AM-12:00 PM. This one hour session will cover the difference between Alzheimer’s and dementia, 10 warning signs of Alzheimer’s, resources for caregivers, and much more.

Community Event - Ottawa Valley - Building Care Craft and Vendor Show
On April 4, 2020 at the Petawawa Civic Centre in the Main Arena there will be a fundraising craft and vendor show in support of an amazing cause and charity.
Proceeds raised during the event including vendor table fees will be donated to the Marianhill Building Care Campaign in support of the redevelopment project of an additional 29 beds and renovations to the pre-existing building.
Marianhill is a charitable long-term care facility located in the beautiful Ottawa Valley. Providing specialized care for 200 Long-Term Care, Complex Continuing Care as well as a 3 bed Hospice Palliative Care Unit.
