Dr. Collip was born in Belleville, Ontario on Nov. 20, 1892 and we’re hosting a Big Birthday Party in honour of his contribution to the discovery of insulin on Wed. Nov. 20 at 6:30p.m. A film clip from local Filmmaker, Sean Scally, will kick off the evening followed by a short film, “The Quest” about Dr. Collip and the discovery of insulin. Light refreshments will be served, enter a draw to win fantastic prizes! No registration is required for this free event.

La plupart de ces pièces sont éco-responsables puisqu'elles incluent des éléments de la nature ou recyclés. Hello my name is Sierra Visca and I would like to share a bit of my story with you. I have Tourette's and mental health disorder. I am tired of being bullied at school and treated different because people can't accept me for who I am. Kids that are being bullied, hurt and left out needs to stop! I watch the news and hear about families not being able to get money for their children with mental and or physical disabilities. So I am going to have fundraiser to raise awareness of bullying and mental health wellness. The money raised will go to help others like me!With the help of my family I am having a Pasta lunch fundraiser at the Falls View Hose Brigade Niagara Falls on November 10th 2019 12pm til 4pm, for tickets or to make a donation email Sierra at sierrastopsbullies@gmail.com Tickets are $10.00 per person in advance or at the door.
