The Chatham-Kent Children's Safety Village is once again hosting its annual Safe Treating in the Village.
On Saturday, October 27 for $10 /family (no advance tix required).
Wear your costumes & come out to the Safety Village

between 11am & 2pm and SAFELY trick or treat with our community partners for lots of treats & no tricks!
Li'l Obie CN's Miniature Train will be there, a train ride for everyone through the park - A crowd favourite!

Attend United Way of Chatham-Kent’s free workshop for volunteer managers of Long-Term Care Homes and Hospice Programs.
WHEN: Thursday, November 15, 2018 @ 1:00 p.m.
WHERE: The 425, 425 McNaughton Ave West, Chatham, N7L 4P4
Developed specifically with the challenges of Long-Term Care Homes or Hospice Programs in mind, this workshop will cover topics from planning for long-term care/hospice roles to maintaining boundaries with vulnerable clients and addressing negative perceptions of volunteering with the sick.
The workshop will be delivered by Volunteer Toronto, in partnership with United Way of Chatham-Kent, and is tailored to equip volunteer managers with the information, skills and resources they need to continue making a difference through the long-term engagement of volunteers.
