On Monday, October 22 voters in the city of Windsor will elect a Mayor, Ward Councillors and School Board Trustees to represent them for the term of office beginning December 1, 2018 and ending November 14, 2022.
The City of Windsor, Elections Division is now accepting applications from Windsor and area residents to work as an Election Official at a voting location for the October 22, 2018 Municipal Election. This is a great opportunity to gain new skills and connect with your community.
The City of Windsor will be appointing individuals to the following positions:
- Greeter
- Tabulator Officer
- Deputy Returning Officer
- Registration Clerk
- Accessibility Officer
- Parking Attendant
- Emergency Worker
Please note that applications will only be accepted online through the City of Windsor website, citywindsor.ca. The City invited all qualified applications to submit their application.
How to apply?
- Complete and submit the "Application for Election Workers 2018". This can be found on the "Election Employment Opportunities" page.
- If you do not have access to a computer or the internet, access is available at all Windsor Public Library locations.
- If you require assistance to complete and submit the online application, you may visit the City of Windsor's Employment & Training Services Office located at, 400 City Hall Square East, Suite 101, Windsor, ON. Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm. Closed on Saturday and Sunday.
