The Perth & District Union Library is offering classic holiday movies to enjoy over the holiday season on these dates:

Juno award winner Jenny Whitely headlines the show which also features Joey Wright. Special guests include Ali McCormick, Amanda Jordan, Tom Watson, Tiger Will Mason and Freddy Dixon. Local performers are invited to share their music with an open mic from 5 to 7pm. Event to be held at the Royal Canadian Legion on Main St. with food provided by Cafe Whim from 5-7pm and by the Legion Ladies Auxiliary from 10-11pm.

Opportunities for children with Santa Claus this weekend include Santa's workshop at the Salvation Army Thrift Store from 10am-4pm and kids can visit and have their photos taken with Santa at the Settler's Ridge Centre (former County Fair Mall) from Noon until 2pm. Both events are this Saturday December 16.
