The always popular Market for Africa is being held on Saturday, November 4th at Crossroads United Church, Sir John A MacDonald Blvd from 9:00a.m. -2:00p.m. At this market you will find beautiful African baskets, sewing, knitting, Christmas items, pre- loved jewellery and pre-loved women’s fall clothing, sand glass creations, eco products, art, nature cards and so much more! Shop and stay for coffee and cookies. All money raised goes to the Stephen Lewis Foundation Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign and Help Lesotho. These programs support grandmothers in Africa caring for their grandchildren orphaned by the AIDS pandemic. Join us for the 85th Annual Port Hope United Church Christmas Fayre on Saturday November 18, 2023 from 10am to 1pm. We will offer a wonderful selection of homemade baking, preserves, delicatessen foods, as well as handmade crafts, knitting and seasonal decor for your home or gifting.
