Celebrate the Proclamation and Flag raising at City Hall during Black African Caribbean Canadian Appreciation Month in Burlington presented by BLing Events International Entertainment at Burlington Central Park Bandshell . This event will feature Live musicians and Dj music performances in the genres of Reggae, Soca, Calypso, Afro Beats, R&B, Jazz music and more!
So grab your lawn chairs , Blankets, Bring your family , friends or come by yourself to experience the music of the Black African Caribbean Canadian Artists right in Burlington on Saturday, August 12, 2023 from 2 pm -9 pm!

Celebrate the Proclamation & the start of Black African Caribbean Canadian Appreciation & Emancipation Month as well as the Eve of the Toronto Caribbean Carnival in Downtown Burlington with 2 Live Music & Dj showcases on Saturday, July 29, 2023 & Friday, August 4, 2023 presented by BLing Events International Entertainment at BLK Swan Kitchen Hub.
This event will feature Live musicians and Dj music performances in the genres of Reggae, Soca, Calypso, Afro Beats music and more, including a performance by the event curator, Vanda Li & Friends .
The venue will also serve Specialty Afro-Caribbean themed menu items!
So put on your dancing shoes & your best Tropical & Afro - Caribbean style outfits then get ready to enjoy delicious food & beverages, live performances & dance the night away to the Dj selected music from various Black African Caribbean-Canadian Artists!
Admission is free all night!

Own a musical instrument and want somewhere to play with others? Come out and join the Active Lifestyle Centre for their very first ever Jam Session! Starting August 8th from 2pm-4pm , you can meet new people, play some music and have some fun!
Families can come to play in our gym for free.

The league runs for 12 weeks
Come on out to the Chatham Off Leash Dog Park on August 19th from 10am till 2pm.
There will be a charity BBQ and photo booth as well as artisans and direct sale vendors. Admission is free, but a monetary donation will be greatly appreciated to help the dog park with upkeep.
