Windsor Symphony Orchestra will perform Tchaikovsky's hyper-romantic Serenade for Strings and Balfour's Pyotr Dream at 7 pm on Friday April 14, 2023.

Recipients to be honoured at June 8, 2023 celebration event
The Community Spirit Awards (CSA) recognition program is back! Residents are invited to nominate community champions who have made a significant difference in Oakville for a 2023 Community Spirit Award.
The awards have been refreshed to include broader awards categories that celebrate community members who make a difference in Oakville through volunteer efforts or acts of kindness.
Nominations will be accepted until Friday, April 28 at 4 p.m. in the following award categories:
1. Arts, Culture & Heritage Award – sponsored by The Oakville Beaver
2. Climate Action Award - sponsored by FirstOntario Credit Union
3. Good Neighbour Award - sponsored by Chartwell Retirement Residences
4. Inclusion, Diversity, sponsored by Equity & Accessibility Award - Access Abilities
5. Inspiration Award - sponsored by RBC Royal Bank
6. Leadership & Innovation Award – sponsored by Amica Senior Lifestyles
Since the Town of Oakville spent the last year refreshing the program, the past two years are being combined into one special event to honour those who have gone above and beyond in 2021 and 2022. This year’s Community Spirit Awards celebration event will take place on June 8, 2023 at the Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre. Décor has been sponsored by Gateman-Milloy Inc. More details will be shared in May.

Saturdays at 7 at St. Andrew's United Church, 85 William Street S., Chatham presents Pedals and Pipes in celebration of 100 years of St. Andrew's organ. Dr. Norah Duncan IV will showcase the full potential of this 3-manual Casavant pipe organ. Donations (suggested $15) at the doors which open at 6:30 pm. All are welcome! Curbside pickup meal for seniors on April 20th, 2023
Prince Edward Community Care continues the monthly curbside pick-up of meals on Thursday, April 20th, 2023. Chef Bill Grieve of Wheelhouse and Occasions catering is preparing a scrumptious meal of Homemade Soup, Roasted Turkey, Potatoes, Vegetables, Bread and Coconut Cream Pie for Dessert. The cost is $18.00/meal and seniors 60+ can order by calling the Community Care office at 613-476-7493. All meals must be paid for in advance. Meals will be packaged hot and ready to be picked up at The View Restaurant at the Picton Golf Club. Only those who preorder and pay will be served. An April Showers Tea will be held at At. Brice's Anglican Church 1225 Cassells St. North Bay ON on Sat. April 22 from 11a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sandwiches, Pickles/Veggies, Tea and coffee will be served for $7.00. Baby Quilts, Unique Cards and Baking will also be for sale.
"The Big Pickin' Party will be jamming at the Columbian Club, 9560 Walker Rd. Amherstberg, on Tuesday, April 4, from 1:00 to 3:30 pm.
Church of the Ascension, 1385 University Ave. West will be holding our Good Friday Fish Fry, Apr. 7th from 4-6pm. It's a perch dinner-perch, homecut fries, coleslaw, dessert, tea & coffee.
