Whether she is captivating audiences with her heartfelt music, entertaining them with her quick wit or sharing her written word in a boldly honest voice – Jann Arden is a Canadian original. She is a brilliant multi-platinum award-winning singer, songwriter, actor, and author. Arden has released 15 albums with 19 top 10 singles, including her newest album Descendent, released in 2022. She has written five books, most recently IF I KNEW THEN: Finding Wisdom in Failure and Power in Aging, as well as co-creating and starring in the CTV original comedy series JANN.

Arden’s accolades include 8 JUNO Awards including Female Artist of the Year and Songwriter of the Year, 10 SOCAN Awards, and 4 Western Canadian Music Awards. She is an inductee of the Canadian Music Hall of Fame and Canadian Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame, has a Star on Canada’s Walk of Fame, and has been awarded the Order of Canada.

  • Characteristics of an adult learner
  • Different learning styles
  • Learning Plan Supplement

Want to maximize your brain potential?  Want to learn strategies to improve your cognitive functioning?  Tri-County Literacy Council is pleased to offer a FREE training titled Mental Gymnastics starting January 16, 2023.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn:

  • how memory works
  • brain health
  • strategies to improve memory
  • improve organizational skill
