The paintings of renowned Ontario artist E Robert Ross will adourn the walls of the Joyner Gallery this October. Famous for his realistic landscapes in acrylic, the painter’s inspiration for many of his works comes from his love of nature and the outdoors.
All are welcome to the opening reception on Sunday, Oct. 2nd, at 2:00 pm. The artist will be in attendance, with remarks at approximately 2:30 PM. Refreshments will be served.
The Pro-Cathedral of the Assumption CWL Annual Christmas Bazaar & Tea will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Parish Hall.
Once again, we will offer our famous tea room service, Heritage & Hidden Treasures, bake table, knitting table, and Penny Sale.

The Friends of the Peterborough Public Library will host their Fall Book Sale on Friday, November 4th from 12:00 noon until 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday, November 5 from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Many of the titles, with the exception of our collectible and rare books, are priced at $1.00
At the sale, look for a large fiction selection, including current bestsellers and famous works of literature. Mysteries are displayed separately and contain the works of many well-known authors. Also, displayed separately are both Canadian fiction and non-fiction titles. The Children's section offers books suitable for toddlers to young adults and includes resources for parents, grandparents and teachers. The non-fiction and reference books are clearly separated and displayed by topic.
In the Library Board Room you'll find many treasures, collectible books and rare editions dating back to the early twentieth century.
In addition, a wide-ranging selection of CDs and DVDs will be available at the sale.
Saturdays at 7 at St. Andrew's United Church, 85 William Street S., Chatham presents Phantom of the Opera. In celebration of St. Andrew's pipe organ and the silent film era, this concert will be a showing of the 1925 silent Phantom of the Opera with organ music performed by the Juno-award winning organist, Ian Sadler.
