Back by popular demand, Hutchison House will host the 30th annual Peach Tea on Thursday, August 18th   from noon to 4pm.  Enjoy the feeling of an old time summer social, as you indulge in an afternoon of home-baked scones served with fresh peaches and whipped cream or ice cream, topped with blueberries.  Tea, iced tea, or lemonade will add a refreshing compliment to this delightful summer repast.

Tickets for the Peach Tea must be booked in advance at a cost of $14.00 for adults/ $10.00 for children. There will be NO drop in seats. Sittings are 12pm, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm. Space is limited. Mark your calendars for Julianna D'Intino's "Connecting Rods", on display at 146 James Street from July 22–24.

The artist, Julianna D’Intino, has been documenting the slow demolition of 285 Ontario Street since 2015. The former factory was a driving force of the Niagara economy for over 100 years. It now sits a shell – stuck in limbo between its past and its future.

Through images, archival materials, interviews, and reflections, the artist explores the history of and familial connections to the location, and how the changing uses of the site have reverberated in the community.
