June is Senior's Month in Ontario. Lawyer Ryan MacNeil of Cunningham, Swan, Carty, Little & Bonham LLP in Kingston will discuss the unique legal issues and needs of older adults, including capacity concerns, the importance of powers of attorney, and remedies for financial abuse of seniors.

Learn about the rights and responsibilities of older adults and those who care for them under Ontario law.

Presented by the Elder Law Section of the Ontario Bar Association.

Heritage and Cemetery Memorial Service at Salem United Church beginning with the Heritage Service Sunday, June 12th at 10am in the church and following with the Cemetery Memorial Service at approximately 11 am outside in the Cemetery, weather permitting.

A lunch provided by the Salem United Church Women and a time for fellowship will follow.  This is an opportunity to celebrate Salem United Church history and honour the memory of all those who are buried in the Cemetery.  All are welcome to attend.

Renfrew and Area Seniors' Home Support will be hosting their summer barbecues on the last Friday of June, July and August.  

June 24, July 29, and August 26.  

Only $7 for a delicious burger and a drink or $6 for a hot dog and a drink.

We are so excited to announce that the Labour Day Parade of 2022 will be a celebration of Labour in our Community.   As with every other group, holding an IN PERSON event is a big deal after the last two years.  Ontario guidelines for safety will be followed.  It is our hope that the Community can gather safely to watch Marching Units, Pipe Bands and parade floats along with your family and friends.
