Join other writers to chat about your work, get ideas, and gain insight on how to improve your writing. Writers’ groups are a great place to encourage yourself and others to meet your writing goals, whether you’re writing fiction or nonfiction. 

The BPL Writers’ Collective meets on the last Thursday evening of the month in the Library’s 2nd floor Board Room.

All book club selections are available from OverDrive/Libby 24/7 without holds or wait lists! A new audiobook will be discussed each month.

June's selection "Make Your Home Among Strangers" by Jennine Capo Crucet is available for listening through OverDrive's Libby App.

Listen along each month and then join us via Zoom the last Wednesday of each month at 6:00 pm for a discussion of that month's selected audiobook. The first meeting to discuss “Make Your Home Among Strangers” will take place on Wednesday, June 29. Registration is required to participate in the Zoom discussion. Get Your Summer Read On at Chatham-Kent Public Library on Saturday, June 25!

Visit any Chatham-Kent Public Library branch on Saturday, June 25 to register for TD Summer Reading Club and you will be entered into a draw to win one of six Ahcom Shriners Prize Packs! Ahcom Shriners Prize Packs include a range of activities, toys, and local business gift certificates for kids valued at $160 each.

Thank you to Ahcom Shriners for their generous donation in support of Chatham-Kent Public Library and TD Summer Reading Club. Shriners are a fraternal organization committed to making a difference in the world through brotherhood, family, fun, and philanthropy. The goal of Shriners is to improve the lives of children both through the support of local children’s programs and services, and by offering unique, patient-centered, wrap-around care at Shriners Hospitals for Children.

As we are a French community centre we tried to focus our meal planning on cultures that speak french and/or countries from which Canada sees alot of Francophone Immigration. We do include several others as well...

Meals from Cameroon, Congo, Côte d'ivoire, France, greek, and more

Show includes Latin dancers, belly dancer, Caribbean music.......and still looking for more
