Sheridan College

Sheridan College and YourTV have collaborated in many different ways over the years.

YourTV often provides training or internship opportunities for their TV Production students.

We have also aired some of the TV Production students' programming on the channel, and have had students participate in our programming as well

We've also been an outlet for some of Sheridan's programming, most notably their Convocation ceremonies.

One of the most unique stand-up comics working today, Canadian born Jeremy Hotz is a proven international success. With stellar performances at the Montreal Comedy Festival: Just For Laughs and his sold out Canadian theatre tours, as well as performances all over the United States, Europe and Australia, Jeremy continues to grab audiences with his completely original and confused, yet very astute, observational comedy.

“He’s endearingly self-deprecating, yet commands the respect of his crowd with his playfully quick comedy.” – Exclaim!

Rising out of the ashes of psychedelia in 1969, Canada’s legendary Chilliwack released 12 albums over a 15 year period producing numerous Canadian and international hits including “Lonesome Mary”, “Fly At Night”, & “California Girl” in the 70’s; and “My Girl (gone gone gone)”, “Whatcha Gonna Do” in the 80’s. All this work led to fifteen gold and platinum certifications, a host of awards, high profile TV appearances and coliseum concert tours.

Chilliwack’s reputation for consistently powerful shows continue, and with the live CD THERE AND BACK still winning over new fans and delighting long time ones, Bill Henderson and the band are rocking like never before. Hearing the revitalized Chilliwack of today is like hearing those songs for the first time… all over again.

“they were four men in a rock ‘n’ roll band, as the song goes” – Ottawa Citizen

Community Event - Burlington/Oakville - THE DREAMBOATS in Concert @ BPAC - May 3

The Dreamboats are bringing back good ol’ rock n’ roll! With a sound that is equal parts Chuck Berry & The Wonders, this quartet of Canadian boys delivers a high energy show that has audiences dancing the night away!

After international tours in both Europe and California, the young and energetic Dreamboats are ready to tear up the stage with their award-winning music inspired by the 50s & 60s sound that they adore. Their on-stage antics are complimented by tales from their adventures on the road: from performing at the legendary Cavern Club in Liverpool, England (where the Beatles cut their teeth), to hearing how Rock n’ Roll came to Canada, first-hand, from the legendary Ronnie Hawkins, to swimming in Elvis Presley’s pool! The Dreamboats are bringing the sound from this timeless era forward for a new generation to discover.

“It was truly the best stage presence I have seen in a very long time. It was the kind of performance that made you want to kick off your shoes and get loose.” — OPJAM Blog
