Community Event - Windsor/Leamington - Register Today for Walk for REACT Windsor-Essex

Join us at the first Walk for RE/ACT Windsor-Essex on Saturday, October 23 from 9:00 am to 11:30 am. Come alone or bring friends and family, young or old, rain or shine. Invite your co-workers to create a team. Pledge sheets are available.

 

The fundraising walkathon will begin with check-in and Tim Hortons breakfast at Assumption Park Pavilion between 8:00 and 8:45 am, walk starts 9:00 am, walk past the Sculpture Gardens, view the scenic Detroit River and Skyline, walk through Dieppe Gardens to the Big Flag at the foot of Ouellette, turn around and walk back enjoying the fall colours.

 

Windsor Express Basketball will welcome the walkers back at Assumption Park.

 

Each in-person adult registration will receive breakfast and a walker's gift.

 

Not comfortable attending an in-person walk? Register as an individual and walk in your neighbourhood.

Victorian Christmas Bazaar and Bake Sale , St Paul’s United Church Stirling . Fri. Nov.5th. 10am-2:30pm.

We will have gift baskets for every occasion ,many handcrafted items including knitting, sewing, woodworking, Christmas decor and more. We also have a huge Bake  table and Candy Shoppe and you never know what you will find in Grandma’s Attic.

Free admission , Covid 19 guidelines apply.

There is a fish fry at 77 Division street in the market square of Welland Friday October 15th from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM take out only.  There is an opportunity to leave a donation at the window for the daily breakfast program coming for the community starting in December with everyday service.
