Would you like to learn to use the more advanced features of email? If you tend to only reply to messages or send basic correspondence, this course is for you. In this free online training program, you will learn to:
• Maintain an address book
• Use a calendar
• Create tasks
• Draft messages
• Format messages
• Know when to use cc and bcc
• Include clickable hyperlinks
• Write and use an electronic signature
• Add attachments
• Create folders to keep mail organized
• Follow proper etiquette & safe practices
This online course (certificate program) is taught via Zoom (an easy-to-use online platform). If you have access to a computer (with camera and microphone), an Internet connection, a Microsoft Account (ex: Outlook.com or Hotmail email etc.) and basic computer skills, this training is for you.

Community Event - Niagara - Dinner and Show Live with MUDMEN
WiseFam Productions, Komrade's Kitchen and The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 479 are hosting a dinner and show with MUDMEN. Dinner is from 5pm - 7pm with dining entertainment from Gene 'Gino' Friskie. Mudmen will perform from 8pm - 10:30pm. All will take place at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 479 on the second floor. Full vaccination must be shown at the door upon entry. Want to learn the ins and outs of using Ancestry for your family history research? Join us on Monday, November 8that 7:00 pm for a Zoom presentation of Getting the Most Out of Researching on Ancestry.
Ancestry is the world’s largest genealogy services company, with record collections from across the globe, DNA testing products, and many more services. This presentation is an overview of how to use and search effectively on Ancestry’s Canadian website, Ancestry.ca, but there are many useful tips and hints for anyone starting out on Ancestry no matter which country you are researching in. A handout will be provided.
Our presenter will be Lesley Anderson, a face and voice well-known to Canadian family history researchers. Lesley has worked for Ancestry for over 14 years as their Canadian Spokesperson, and has done numerous presentations for genealogy societies.
