Her previous novel, Smoke River (2014), won the Hamilton Literary Award. They will be discussing her new book "Half Life" a beautifully rendered story about family truths and the profound human need to be believed.

She will also answer your burning questions about the theatre industry and how artists have fared, survived and thrived during "The Great Shutdown". Show loved ones living with Crohn’s and colitis they are not alone by registering and walking individually or in small groups (if possible).

From the time you register, to Gutsy Walk day in June, you’ll be connected online to others who care just as much about finding a cure as you do. Together, we’ll share stories while raise funds and awareness. On June 6, walk, run, or bike in your community as an individual or a team as a part of one of our 60+ community Gutsy Walks across Canada to help improve the lives of children and adults affected by Crohn’s and colitis.
