To North Bay and Area Metis Citizens:
The North Bay Metis Council is hosting its 2021 virtual Annual General Meeting via Zoom on April 17 at 11:00 am. Welcoming remarks will be given by MNO President Margaret Froh, Dave Smith MPP for Peterborough and Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Indigenous Affairs, Jamie Schmale MP for Haliburton-Kawartha Lakes-Brock and critic for Crown-Indigenous Relations. Citizens will be updated by the Council reports including a financial update, as well as updates on in-person
gatherings organized by Council before Covid-19. Citizens will hear from the Director of Self Government Strategy, Brian Black and PCMNO Regional Councilor, Roger Rose about the MNO Core Self-Governance Agreement with time for questions.
