The Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Champlain East will be hosting its 16th annual Mental Illness Awareness Walk (MIAW). The event will take place on Tuesday, October 8th from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at 14 Marlborough Street, Army Navy Air Force. We welcome all to come out and parade the downtown area in order to raise awareness and support mental health. After the walk, a ceremony will follow to allow our walkers to visit booths set up by local agencies, to socialize and to share their stories to reduce the stigma of mental illness.
