Watch, as poets go head-to-head, elimination style to see who can win Battle Slam! Advancing poets will be determined by the audiance, so bring your applause!

Poets pay $20 to compete and have a chance to win half the pot from registration! There will be a $5 cover for anyone attending the event.

Tirée du second livre de l’auteur, cette conférence se penche sur la science de la nutrition, la façon dont les chercheurs procèdent en laboratoire et la manière dont elle est communiquée par les médias. Elle outille les consommateurs à départager le vrai du faux en nutrition.

Depuis la sortie de son livre « Deux garçons à la mère », récit de son parcours atypique de parent d’enfants autistes, Guylaine Guay offre un message d’amour et d’espoir en parlant de la différence. Le handicap de ses enfants a certes changé sa vie, mais son attitude positive, sa combativité, son humour et sa prise de position face à l’adversité sauront vous faire réfléchir tout en vous divertissant. Cette conférence s’adresse à tous, car même si vous n’avez pas d’enfants handicapés dans votre entourage, vous devez tout de même faire face aux défis de la vie, souvent inattendus! Célébrer la différence, voilà sa mission.

Compte tenu du nombre limité de places, nous aurons une section réservée pour les personnes qui s’inscriront.

Join True North Aid in a walk towards reconciliation on the trails of Little Cataraqui Creek Conservation Area.

Reflect upon Canada’s past and present relationship with Indigenous peoples and learn how to take action for a better tomorrow. During the walk, information about Canada’s history with Indigenous peoples will be available with suggestions on how to be a good ally and become part of reconciliation efforts and actions in Canada.

Little Cataraqui Creek is offering FREE admission to the park.
