It is for women from all over the world that this year will be praying for the Women of Slovenia.
The women here in Petrolia represent all of the churches and came together to organize this prayer and song service. It is to be held on the first Friday of every March. At this service we will collect money that will be sent to this small country just north of Croatia, to help the poor women of that country. Next year the country will be the women of Zimbabwe.

Recently voted ‘Best New Festival in Ontario’, the TD Niagara Jazz Festival is an exciting Not--for-Profit jazz festival dedicated to celebrating the art form of jazz in the Niagara Region. Step back into the 19th Century and become a pioneer in this fun program. Children will cook on the fire, make rag dolls, write with quill pens and play pioneer games. Programs run from 9:30am - 12pm or 1-3:30pm and are suitable for children ages 6-12. The cost is $20 per attendant and pre-registration is required.
