Community Event - Peterborough/Lindsay - March Break Pioneer Days
Step back into the 19th Century and become a pioneer in this fun program. Children will cook on the fire, make rag dolls, write with quill pens and play pioneer games. Programs run from 9:30am - 12pm or 1-3:30pm and are suitable for children ages 6-12. The cost is $20 per attendant and pre-registration is required. In this workshop children will create their very own hand crafted journal. Your child will not only feel satisfaction for making their own book and personalizing it however they would like, but it will also make a great space for them to store memories.

Join us for the Celebrity Ice Cup Draft Night AFTER PARTY, a celebratory evening before the 5th Annual Rankin Celebrity Ice Cup—an innovative, two-day hockey experience allowing amateur hockey players the opportunity to play with and against legendary NHL alumni.

Felt is one of the oldest textiles and is used for a variety of purposes, from clothing to cars and art or musical instruments. Children will learn how to make their own felt from raw wool.
