November 17 - Central United Church's Bake Sale and Deli will be held downtown Sarnia at 220 George Street from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon.  Free admission.  Items for sale include: turkey pies, fruit pies, butter tarts, jams and jellies, preserves, frozen entrees, soups, cookies and more.  Stock up your freezer and shelves for those cold winter days.

Visit Artful Treasures, Niagara Pumphouse premier artist & artisan show & sale in coordination with the Rotary Club Holiday House Tour. The best place to find holiday gifts for those who appreciate unique and beautiful objects crafted by Niagara region artisans. Free admission to Artful Treasures.

The exhibit consists of 2 small collections; one that explores Canadian myths and legends on a national level, and a second that explores Canadian myths and legends on a regional level looking specifically at Niagara-on-the-Lake.  The national level collection explores cryptids and quirky creatures rumored to inhabit the Canadian wilderness and landscape. The regional collection consist of a series of portraits exploring some of Niagara-on-the-Lake’s most infamous characters. This project was done in collaboration with the Niagara Historical Society, with the intent of exploring some of the town’s most colorful legends, many of whose stories are largely unknown.
