St Paul's Anglican Church in Brighton will be holding it's annual Christmas Bazaar and Lunch November 25th from 11am to 2pm.  There will be Baking, Knitting, Crafts, Attic Treasures and Christmas items.  No cost for admission.  Lunch is $8.00 for delicious homemade chili, rolls, dessert and a beverage.

St. Joseph’s Knights of Columbus Council #10436 is holding a breakfast on Sunday November 12, 2017 from 9:00A.M. until 12:30P.M. at the Spirit & Life Centre (St. Joseph’s Site) located at 184 Wellington St. West Chatham. We are serving an all you can eat buffet with 2 meats, hash browns, scrambled eggs, French toast or pancakes, toast & fruit cocktail. The cost is $7.00 per plate for adults, $4.00 for children 6-12, and children 5 and under are free.

Municipality seeking input on ice-use helmet policy

North Grenville, ON – The Municipality of North Grenville is always looking for ways to improve the programs and services it offers to residents and public safety is one of the primary motivations for improvements. With that in mind, the Municipality is seeking public input on a draft helmet policy that has been developed with public safety as the goal.

The draft policy that has been developed by the Department of Parks, Recreation & Culture would make helmets mandatory for all ice users at the North Grenville Municipal Centre, with reasonable exceptions. The Municipality is seeking feedback from the community for the purpose of understanding the impact and barriers ice users may experience as a result of the introduction of such a policy.

A draft of the proposed policy and a related survey can be found online at www.northgrenville.ca. Paper copies of the survey are available at the Municipal Office and the North Grenville Public Library. The deadline for survey response is November 14th, 2017.

Once the survey data is analyzed, a report with the findings and staff recommendations will be presented to Committee of the Whole.
